Morachi Chincholi ( Peacock and Tamrind )

Chincholi Morachi or Morachi Chincholi (मोराची चिंचोळी), by name itself means a village of tamarind trees (Marathi:चिंच Chincha) & town of Dancing Peacocks (Marathi:मोर More) all around. It is situated near Ahmednagar-Pune Highway about 55 km from Pune. Even today, one can find lot of peacocks everywhere in this small village.[1]
It is said that during times Peshwe dynasty lot of tamarind trees were planted over here which attracted Peacocks to this place. The villagers also claim that their ancestors kept on planting tamarind trees and cohabited with this bird over here. Now there are around 2500 Peacocks in this region.

This post is actually dedicated to bird watching, and those who are bird lovers must visit this place. Morachi chincholi is all saying in its name. The place is actually occupied with lots of Peacock. This might the beautiful spot for catching Peacock as well as some different kind of birds.

Mahabaleshwar (Nursery Flowers)

Located about 120 km (75 mi) southwest of Pune and 285 km (177 mi) from Mumbai, Mahabaleshwar is a vast plateau measuring 150 km2 (58 sq mi), bound by valleys on all sides. It reaches a height of 1,439 m (4,721 ft) at its highest peak above sea level, known as Wilson/Sunrise Point.

Talking about the Mahabaleshwar, it is really a god gifted heaven near to Pune. Especially if you are planning to visit the place in Mansoon. The best thing i came across while on way to Mahabaleshwar is actually way to this place. It is so beautifully managed around the hilly part, which is again obviously covered with good amount flora. Green to see when you look around, everything is so amusing over there. 
Looking through the photographic eyes, there are many of spot which we can go and take some nice shots of. The best thing i observe, are so many nursery on the way. These nursery do have lot of different kind of flower.
